INFORMATION LETTER

Dear colleagues!

L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University invites you to take part in the XVIII International Eurasian Scientific Forum «30 years of Kazakhstan’s Independence: Historical course, milestones of development and prospect» which will be held on 29 October 2021.

The work of the XVIII International Eurasian Scientific Forum is aimed at implementing the historical ideas of the article by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokaev named «Independence Above All».

The main goal of the XVIII International Eurasian Scientific Forum is to exchange the achievements of modern scientific research on the history of the statehood of Independent Kazakhstan in the history of the Great Steppe.

The work of the XVIII International Eurasian Forum will be carried out in the following areas:

·         Challenges of globalization and Independent Kazakhstan.

·         World Scholars about Kazakhstan

·         Innovations in education and science of the XXI century.

·         The tragedy of totalitarianism of the XX century: hunger, terror and repression.

·         The December events of 1986 in the historical memory.

·         Golden Horde and the Kazakh Khanate: the continuity of statehood.

·         The Turkic world and L. N. Gumilyov’s scientific heritage.

·         The main trends in the development of the world historical science

Forum languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.

It is necessary to send an article together with the registration form to the organizing committee by 10 October 2021 to be included in the program and collection of the Eurasian Forum.

Articles should meet the following requirements:

1. The registration form and the text of the report, in accordance with the topic of the forum and the volume of no more than 7 pages, are necessarily typed in the MS Word text editor. The file with the report should be named by the author's surname.

2. Paper size: A4, font: Times New Roman, size of the font: 12, upper and lower limit: 2 cm, right limit: 1 cm, left limit: 3 cm, line spacing: single, paragraph indent: 1.25.

3. The title of the report is written in CAPITAL LETTERS (in BOLD) in the middle of the line, at the top of the report.

4. Under the title of the report, the initials, surname of the author, academic degree, academic title (if any) are written in the center in a lowercase (small) letter (in bold).

5. The next line indicates the author's place of work, position.

6. The text of the report follows after one interval.

7. The list of references and sources is located at the end of the report and is compiled by reference in the text. References are made in square brackets indicating the number and page of the source according to the list [6, p. 2].
