We invite you to take part in the online school as part of the SOLID project.

 From November 22 to 26, 2021, it is planned to hold the next SOLID online school at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. This event will feature a variety of lectures by SOLID project partners from Germany, Central Asia, and China. This international and interdisciplinary program is dedicated to research and practice in the field of social work. Your attention will be offered various lectures on social work in the area of drug use, treatment, HIV/AIDS, and other infectious diseases, as well as social work in places of deprivation of liberty. The online school will be attended by scientists and researchers from leading universities in the world:

Heino Stöver (The role of social work in total institutions)

Ingo Ilja Michels (The role of social work in prevention, counselling and treatment of drug use disorders in Germany)

Margot Uys  (HIV/TB, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), GBV and Mental Health in Prison Settings – Focus on Women Prisoners in sub-Saharan Africa – Training the Trainers.)

Daan van der Gouwe (25+ years of drug checking in the Netherlands – what did it bring us?)

Babak Moazen (Prisoners should not be left behind in HCV research and policies) and many others.

Participants of the project from Eurasian National University named after L.Gumilyov the teacher Medet Kudabekov (Staffing of social work in the context of modernization of the social service system) and PhD student Dalida Mukasheva (Health care in women's prisons in the Republic of Kazakhstan: Women with HIV and the role of the social worker) will take part  The event will be held online.
