First-year students of the Faculty of History at the National Museum

On September 29, 2022, first-year students of the Faculty of History attended the opening of the photo exhibition "Gebekli-Tepe: the starting point of History" at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan. The Gebekli Tepe Temple is the oldest cult monument in the world, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The head of the Department of Archeology and Ethnology Umitkaliev U.U. told the first-year students about cooperation with the National University and how the museum's funds are replenished with archaeological collections.

Director of the K.A. Akishev Research Institute of Archaeology, associate Professor of the Department of Archaeology and Ethnology M.K. Khabdulina conducted a tour of the "Hall of Gold", told about the scientific contribution to archaeology of the famous Kazakh scientist K.A. Akishev.

For first-year students, future specialists of archaeologists and ethnologists, a visit to the National Museum, photo exhibitions and a lively story by a leading researcher in the field of archaeology, M.K. Khabdulina, is a good incentive for a deep study of Russian history, archaeological disciplines and readiness for field practice
