About the open lecture on "New data and understanding of the history of Kazakhstan"

On October 27, 2022, an open lecture on "Medieval written monuments" was held with the participation of first-year undergraduates of the specialty 7M02203 "History". The lecture was conducted by Nurbayeva Dina Zamirbekovna, a 2nd-year doctoral student.

During the lecture, the place and historical significance of medieval written monuments were discussed. Information about medieval historical artifacts was presented, the significance of which as a historical source was actively discussed by undergraduates. Undergraduates carried out individual work on attribution of ancient literary works. The undergraduates shared their thoughts on data attribution and conducted an analysis with other team members. As a result, it was possible to identify the authors of medieval sources in contrast to their writing style, the topics raised. Attribution of data contributed to the formation of undergraduates' skills in working with data. Undergraduates were convinced of the necessity and importance of this skill in working on the topic of their dissertation assigned to them. Thus, there is reason to believe that this lecture has achieved its goal. We are confident that undergraduates will be able to demonstrate and hone their acquired skills and abilities in the process of writing dissertations and articles.
