Gumilev 1 year of the multilingual group studying the discipline "Contemporary History of Kazakhstan" took part in the competition of scientific projects "HISTORY AROUND US" (History around us), organized and conducted by Doctor of History, Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Kovalskaya Svetlana Ivanova.
These projects have made it possible to better reveal the abilities of first-year students to self-identification in the cultural and historical space, as well as to determine their value priorities. The contest significantly expanded the experience of students' interaction with their historical and cultural environment.
A total of 68 projects were prepared. As a result of the contest, 22 best projects were selected in four categories: Kazakh history and culture, Soviet history of Kazakhstan, urban daily life, modern Astana.
