On October 28, 2022, the IV international online round table was held "Education of the XXI century: trends, factors and mechanisms of training historians and teaching historical disciplines", organized by the Institute of Social Sciences of the Ural State Pedagogical University (Yekaterinburg) and the Faculty of History of the L.N.Gumilev ENU.

Speakers from the L.N.Gumilyov ENU were: Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Musabalina G.T., the topic of the speech is "Historical aspects of the development of historical science in Kazakhstan", associate professors of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Yermenbayeva G.K., the topic of the speech is "Organization of project activities of students with distance learning", Zhapekova G.K., the topic of the speech is "Innovative technologies in teaching the history of Kazakhstan".

Great interest was aroused by the speech of colleagues from USPU - V.N. Zemtsov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Head of the Department of General History and Methods of Teaching Historical Disciplines of USPU. The topic of the speech is "The movement of military–historical reconstruction of Russia and its role in civil-patriotic education".

The students of USPU took an active part in the round table: undergraduate Popova Yu.V. made a presentation on the topic "Migration of peasants to the Urals in the late XIX – early XX centuries through the prism of L.N. Gumilev's views"; student Ignatovich E. A. shared her experience of teaching at school and made a presentation on the topic "Local history and the Russian language as a means of forming patriotism and citizenship among younger schoolchildren of Kazakhstan".
