On October 5, 2022, the Faculty of History of the Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilyov held the final reporting meeting of the summer archaeological and ethnographic practice.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Career and Business Partnership Smagulova G.R. and expert of the sector of planning and organization of professional practice Kilybayeva U.K. K.A. Akisheva Khabdulina M.K. and his senior researcher Tleugabulov D.T.
The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of History Sadykov T.S., who gave his instructions to the 1st year students. Further, members of the Chingistau Archaeological Expedition and the Ishim Archaeological Expedition, who carried out archaeological and ethnographic practice and research work, presented the results of the summer field season.
Students of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th year of the Department of Archeology and Ethnology and 4th year students of the Department of History made a report on the results of the research conducted in the Kyrykungir burial ground and the historical and archaeological complex Akbauyr, and the works of the Esil Archaeological Expedition were presented by 3-4 year students of the Department of Archeology and ethnology and undergraduate Eginbay A.
The guests and the teaching staff unanimously came to the conclusion that the internship was genuine and meaningful, that the internship aroused the interest of students and fulfilled its cognitive function.
