On October 9, 2020, as part of teaching practice, a graduate student in the specialty "History" of the 2nd year of study Iskakov Ilyas conducted a practical lesson on the topic "Methodology of onomastic research" for students of the academic group I-22. During the seminar the following questions were considered:
1. Principles of onomastic research.
2. Types of analysis.
During the classes, students made demonstrations of their presentations, jointly discussed and debated on the issues of the seminar. During the seminar, Ilyas Seitzhanovich paid special attention to research methods (historical, descriptive, comparative, stylistic) and onomastic terms (onomastic space, field, substrate). A large number of examples from various historical periods were also given on the questions of the seminar.
The dean of the Faculty of History, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor T.S. Sadykov, the teacher of this discipline PhD S.K. Kabyltayeva, all students of the I-22 group attended the practical seminar.
The practical lesson was summed up by reflection.
