On April 12, 2022, as part of the celebration of the Day of Science Workers, the XVII International Scientific Conference "ǴYLYM JÁNE BILIM- 2022" was held at the L.N. Gumilyov ENU. The History Faculty held a meeting of the History, Archeology and Ethnology section in several subsections. The meeting of the subsection "Problems of Archeology in the context of modernization of historical consciousness" and "Problems of ethnology in the context of modernization of historical consciousness" was attended by students, undergraduates, doctoral students and young scientists of the L.N.Gumilyov ENU (Nur-Sultan), the Northeastern Federal University named after M.K.Ammosov (Yakutsk), the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek (Tashkent), Ural State Pedagogical University (Yekaterinburg).
The Dean of the Faculty of History, Professor T.S. Sadykov, welcomed the participants, emphasizing the role of scientific events in motivating and attracting young people to research, wished everyone success and great scientific achievements.
The participants of the conference were able to present the results of their scientific research. Everyone had the opportunity to participate in discussions on a wide range of issues: on the problems of modern archaeology and topical issues of ethnology.
At the end of the meeting of the subsection, the best reports were awarded with Diplomas and Letters of Thanks from the Rector of the L.N.Gumilev ENU. The conference materials will be published in the collection of articles of the XVII International Scientific Conference "ǴYLYM JÁNE BILIM- 2022" and posted on the university's website.
