On October 12, 2023, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Yermenbayeva Gulzhan Kakimbekovna held a public lecture "Merchant dynasties of Akmolinsk: Kosshegulovs, Kubrins, Halfins".
This lecture was held within the framework of the scientific project "The role of merchants in the transformation of the socio–cultural space of Kazakhstan in the second half of the XIX – early XX centuries." and was dedicated to the merchants of the first and second guilds, who played an important role in the economic and social life of Akmolinsk, who made a great contribution to the construction, development of the city of Akmolinsk - Kosshegulovs, Kubrins, Halfins.
The lecture was held in an online/offline format, it was attended by scientists from Astana (L.N.Gumilyov ENU, M.S.Narykbayev KazGUU University, A.Baytursynuly KRU), Ural State Pedagogical University (Russia, Yekaterinburg), as well as students of the Faculty of History, teachers and a student of Lyceum School No. 60 Astana.
