Achievements

Poly linguistic education. Modern requirements for quality education imply the need for the development and introduction of multilingual education at all levels of training future graduate students of the Faculty of History. In 2016, the departments of the Faculty of History actively introduce disciplines in English for the development of the poly-lingual training of magistrates.

The Faculty of History intends to develop a multilingual education through the development and implementation of the PPS of the Chair of New Courses, the development of collective textbooks and manuals on basic special courses, the creation of its own original teaching and methodological developments in English and Kazakh languages, and the creation of independent multilingual groups.

Academic mobility of teachers and students. Academic mobility includes both outgoing and incoming mobility, it provides both students and teachers access to recognized centers of knowledge of leading scientific schools, to take advantage of the opportunities of the European higher education space, including democratic values, diversity of cultures and languages. In turn, foreign colleagues have an opportunity to get acquainted with Kazakhstan's education system, Kazakhstan's science, which will allow further developing partnerships not only between educational institutions, but also countries supporting mobility of higher education.

Doctoral students of the Department of History of Kazakhstan systematically go to European universities in the framework of the PhD program, in accordance with the program of academic mobility, graduate students from 2010. they leave for foreign universities (Atatürk University, Tomsk State University, University of Bologna, Yerevan University (Armenia), Warsaw University (Poland), Opel University (Poland), Mimar Sinan University (Turkey), etc.

To date, the faculty has a number of arrangements for the academic exchange of students undergraduate, graduate and PhD doctoral studies

Also, the students of faculty departments have the opportunity to pass industrial practice with the subsequent possible employment both in state government bodies and in large research centers.

In 2018, the title of Kazakh beauty “Kazakh Aruy-2018” was received by a student of the specialty 5B020300- “History” of the history department of the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov Nabira Rakhymzhan.

Scholarship holder of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev ("Nazarbayev scholarship") for the 2018-2019 academic year was enrolled in the history department of the Eurasian National University. L.N. Gumilyov specialty 6M020300- "History" Mereke Alshynbayeva.
