March 1, 2019 at the department of archeology and ethnology in the student club "Zhas archeolog" a competition of scientific articles of students "Zhas Kalam" was held in order to involve students in science.
This competition is held on the initiative of Ph.D., Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Archeology and Ethnology of U. U. Umitkaliev for the second year. The competition consists of 3 rounds. In the first round of technical expertise of the work, more than 30 scientific articles of students participated and in the next round 20 students passed. In the second round, students gave presentations of their work. The third round of the competition consisted of questions on “Academic Writing”.
The event was attended by researchers, scientists in the directions of young scientists. Among them are Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor ZH.O. Artykbaev, Professor RM Mustafina, Ph.D., associate professor M.K. Habdulina, Ph.D., Associate Professor Z.O. Ibadullaeva and others. Scientists noted the excellent training and level of knowledge of students. Students received diplomas, certificates and memorable prizes.
