In 2010, Professor Jin Noda published a collection of documents - letters of the Kazakh khans of the Qin Dynasty translated from Turkic and Kalmyk into English (“Collections of documents from the Kazakh sultans to the Qing Dynasty”, Japan).

 

In 2016, Jin Noda published the monograph “The Kazakh Khanates between the Russian and Qing Empires: Central Eurasian International Relations during the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries ”, Leiden, Boston: Brill). In the book, the author explores the role of the Kazakh steppe in Russian-Chinese relations, and also considers such issues as ideas about the Kazakh social structure, the terms "zhuz" and "Kazakh" in Chinese sources, etc.
